Keep warm this winter

 SF22914 Walker on Hill

Keeping warm over winter months can help prevent colds and flu. To prevent germs spreading make sure you get your seasonal flu jab from your GP and wash your hands, especially if vomiting or have diarrhoea. Eating a balanced diet and ensuring your home is warm over winter will enable you to keep warm and well. Checking on elderly relatives and neighbours, to ensure they are warm and have adequate lighting in their homes to prevent slips, trips and falls will help them stay safe over winter.

The downloadable winter leaflet will give you some advice on how to keep warm and stay healthy throughout winter. It also provides a list of useful contact numbers that can help and support you throughout the winter months.
